88mates ("we") takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and how you can control it.

- •Approximate location (city + distance in km) — only if you enable location sharing in the community
- •88-day tracking data (days worked, dates)
- •Budget data (income and expenses in AUD)
- •Saved job applications and listings
Use of data
You can at any time:
- •Allow you to log in to your account
- •Show your city and distance to other members in the community feed (if enabled)
- •Save your 88-day tracking and budget
- •Improve the application
Storage and security
Your data is stored securely via Supabase (AWS infrastructure). We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all communications.
Data sharing
If you enable location sharing, your city and approximate distance are visible to other community feed members. You can disable this at any time from the app. No precise GPS coordinates are transmitted.
Cookies
We only use cookies essential to the app's operation (login session). No advertising cookies.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete my account). Deletion is permanent and results in the removal of all data associated with your account.
Your rights
You can at any time:
